International Recruitment Manager
An experienced individual to head International Recruitment for a busy international recruitment desk.
Responsible for overseeing and executing operational and strategic functions of the department, including lead generation, business development, international recruitment campaigns for the recruitment and placement of health care personnel
The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across the NHS and professional departments to develop and implement marketing initiatives in support of the Company’s International Recruitment targets.
Essential requirement at least 3-5 years of recent experience of delivering large international healthcare recruitment projects for/to the NHS. The post will involve overseas travel.
Key Duties:
To lead a team of Permanent Recruitment Consultants and Administration staff, specialising in the provision of International Recruitment Services
Strategic positioning – to determine the strategy of the business, explore how it competes and serves customers in its markets. Ensuring satisfaction and retention of customers
Organise and build a culture of innovation
Responsible for business development and communications, and for leading and executing a wide range of International Recruitment projects.
Experience of building and growing successful teams
To develop and implement international marketing and recruitment plans for priority markets in support of NHS recruitment objectives.
To undertake recruitment visits to priority markets and to provide reports and market intelligence on these activities.
To manage relationships with overseas representatives in priority markets and work closely with representatives in order to recruit staff.
To recruit to agreed targets suitably qualified international Nurses, Medical staff and AHP’s
To interview candidates and make decisions, in the context of the admissions criteria agreed with the appropriate boards of agencies, with regard to their admission to the NHS
To develop a good knowledge of qualifications and experience portfolio and of the entry requirements for the NHS for International candidates.
To disseminate market intelligence and information on potential business opportunities to appropriate colleagues across the NHS, and work with colleagues to progress these opportunities.
To maintain good relations with target Hospitals in priority markets within the UK. with colleagues in other sections of Marketing and Communications, to develop and implement promotional and marketing materials and tools to support the achievement of the recruitment objectives.
To participate in key projects such as developing promotional material and web pages; implementing internal and external communication strategies; and streamlining the enquiry and admissions processes for international candidates.
To conduct appropriate market research, with reference to the strategic development of competitor activity.
Strong presentation design and delivery experience
To provide, while in the UK, support for existing overseas candidates registered at CCS particularly during the Overseas Recruitment Programme.

Public and Private Sector Recruitment experience
To write apply and win Tenders and mini competitions within the Private and Public Sector
This is a non billing role and your focus will be on developing a strategy to increase the coverage and revenue of this International Recruitment division.

The International Recruitment Manager’s duties may vary from time to time, which reflect CCS’s priorities, but do not change the general character of the job or the level of responsibility entailed.

Essential skills
Must have prince 2 project management or similar
Must have 3-5 years working on large international project for the NHS
Must have a track record in Lead generation
Must have track record in tracking candidate journey
Track record in staff supervision, training, coaching and motivation
Demonstrable ability in reporting at varying levels
Have strong analytical acumen
