We are currently looking to recruit Social Workers, PWPs, Occupational Therapists and Clinical/Counselling Psychologists with secondary care experience who are compassionate, caring and can prioritise the needs of the clients.
Shift Schedule:
A Gateway Worker in this role will be required to work full time for a total of 37.5 hours per week. Typical hours worked are 08:00–16:00 or 09:00–17:00.
This contract will last 3 months from the Gateway Worker’s start date with the possibility of extension.
Gateway Worker Job Description:
You will need to assist the single point of entry to ensure that new referrals into the IAPT service are suitably risk assessed and when not suitable, referred onto appropriate agencies. You are expected to provide support to clinicians with making appropriate referrals to secondary care mental health services. You will play a role in enhancing interagency relationship and interface.
Remote working is possible if you have the necessary equipment and confidential work set-up to facilitate.
Gateway Worker’s must have:
*As per government guidelines, Gateway Worker’s must have proof of their first jab by 1st February 2022 and be fully vaccinated by 1st April 2022.
