Band 7 Physiotherapist Full Time

We are currently looking to recruit Band 7 Physiotherapists who are compassionate, caring and can prioritise the needs of the clients.

Shift Schedule:

A Physiotherapist in this role will be required to work full time for a total of 37.5 hours per week. Typical hours worked are 08:00–16:00 or 09:00–17:00.

This contract will last 3 months from the Physio’s start date.

Physiotherapist Job Description:

We are seeking a Band 7 Physiotherapist to cover the Long Covid Triage Hub for East and Central London patients (Post is combined virtual and will evolve into face-to-face clinics in the future). You will be working with GP’s, a Respiratory Consultant, a Psychologist/RMN and administrative support, the Physiotherapist will be working within a service that is offered virtually.

Physiotherapist skills Required by the Client:

• Good knowledge of EMIS, IT ( Teams, Outlook, word, etc), ZOOM platform
• Experience in working across various disciplines ( Neuro, MSK, Medical, etc..)
• Experience of working in rehabilitation
• Experience of triaging referrals and ensure onward referrals
• Knowledge and experience of working in a multidisciplinary team
• Experience of case presentation in team meetings
• Empathy – managing potentially anxious service users who present with complex symptoms of Long Covid.

Physiotherapists must have:

• HCPC registration with a license to practice
• Minimum of 6 months NHS experience
• Recognised qualifications
• Have right to work in UK
• A current DBS on the update service
• A driving licence and access to a car
• Full flu/COVID Vaccinations*

*As per government guidelines, Physiotherapists must have proof of their first jab by 1st February 2022 and be fully vaccinated by 1st April 2022.
